How many of you guys use the clear Anti-Scuff sheets on their bats? I have always used the fiberglass protective sheets but never the clear ones. Anyone use both and give me some insight on these? Any particular brand you like? And do they really keep the blade of your bat clean? Pictures of used bats with these on would be awesome!
Thanks guys -R a j a Edited by Hades |

well i bought my gray nicholls longbow extreme (ooooh beauty) with a anti scuf pad already fitted. its pretty good, i dont oil my bat and it still pings from the centre like 4 years on.
However from edging one ball i got the edge of it being bumped. Its just got a little bubble and crazk, but still no worries. Bad Thing tho: The pad peels off from the toe of the bat. then it collected all this dirt and grass, making it really ugly and smelly. I had to use a sharp blade to cut the pad off about 2cm from the toe, just so it didn't get infected. Other than that, its fine. oh adn by the way, anti scuffing pad, anti scuffing sheet, same thing. |

So does the blade of your bat remain looking clean? I am mainly concerned about how it looks on the bat as I hate having a bat that has red all over the blade, so I constantly find myself cleaning my bats.

The Newbury Hammer-Edge looks good;
Matt finish front sheet with built in strips to protect the edges. Not bad for a fiver! |

well, my bat looks a bit dirty. i kinda wrecked the pad by playing against wet leather balls, which leave circular type brown circles, like rotten cherries =P.
cant see to wash off, need use my nails a bit. |
