Hi Guys
Hoping you can point me in the right direction?
Am trying to put together some materials, eg pictures and text explaining techniques, batting and bowling especialy suitable for younger players.
Needs to be un copyrighted although i don't mind trying to get permissions if need be.
looking forward to your replies.
cheers

The main aim for really young kids is to let them have fun. There's no point in bogging a 10 year old down with 'Now what did Sir Geoffrey say we must always do?' because, in all honesty, that's not too thrilling.

Thats true but cricket is a technical/mental game and unless you teach young kids the tech/mental side to the game they wont ever be successful at it. Theres no fun in getting out for ducks every week because you dont move your feet and dont know whether to hit or defend.
Regarding the question, try a good library in your area for some good titles. Another option is to type in cricket coaching on Amazon and purchase one of those. If your just looking for online material then your best off just doing a google search on cricket coaching. Heres something i found on fast bowling go to tips and hints:

It depends how old the kids are. The "Long Term Athlete Development Plan" the the ECB promote starts younger kids on playing games for fun and gradually makes it more physical as they get older.
