Was Paul Collingwood's 112 and 6-31 for England against Bangladesh the best ODI performance of all time?

Yes, it was the best all-round performance of all time, there are 5 or 6 players who managed a century and 5 wickets but he is the first to make a century and then take 6 wickets.

His 6-31 was also the best ODI bowling analysis for England I believe.

Collingwood is very underrated I will rate him the thorpe of the England one day team. In the sense that u can rely on him to get them out of trouble Saturday's Natwest Series Final was a prime example of that. And also a top fielder too.

It had to be the best all round performence of all time, when was the last time a player scored a century and took 6 wickets. However given that the opposition was against Bangladesh a few doubts still prevail

3 centuries in a week in da county championships from Collingwood may earn him a place in da next ashes squad if not da team. If this is da case how do u think will b dropped 2 make a place for him.

I would have 2 say either Bell, Hoggard or either Giles may b dropped to make way 4 Collingwood. Now da Pro and Cons of either decision.

Replacing Bell:

Pro:Taking Bell place may allow Pietersen 2 come in earlier and allow him more time to bat rather then batting with da tail. Failed in both innings in da first test against da Aussies. Collingwood could b da England Katich were he is able to play his natural game with da tail.

Con: Having Pietersen, Collingwood and Flintoff in succession may expose them as there are unexperience in test cricket and put more pressure on Trescothick, Strauss and Vaughan who have yet 2 clicked against Australia.

Replacing Hoggard:

Pro: Collingwood is an all rounder and could bowl overs if picked. Could allow Simon Jones more overs how I think was da most underrated bowler in da team and da most underused. Hoggard has struggled against da Aussies.

Con: If Collingwood fails to bowl well more pressure could b put on Harmison and Flintoff to bowl more overs then they want which da Aussies would want.

Replacing Giles:

Pro: Giles rarely does well in England and Australia took him out of da attack at Lords.

Con: No recognised spinner in da team.

If I was England selector I would picked Collingwood ahead of Giles. He is on form right now and deserved 2 b picked in da test team.
