County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Both did pretty poorly in the second test, first innings. Strauss really should have known better.

Oooooohhhh...I think warnester's a psychic, after England's second innings the openers were even worse! Where's Tres when you need him?

To early to decide between Cook and Strauss. Strauss has been around for quite some time now. Cook has played just one Test which eh performed very well. He still needs more time. One Test is not enough.

England have to focus a lot on the one dayers as they don't have Trescothick and Vaughan.

Cook vs. Strauss?
I would certainly go with Strauss! Cook is way too new and unpredictable to compare with Strauss. |

We are talking about Allastair Cook, right?
He's young and looks like he's got a bright future ahead of him! But I wouldn't take his early success as a guarantee that he can really play against the best and perform against the best. |

Alastair Cook is too young and unpredictable! Right now, it looks like he's got a promising and bright future. But you never know what could happen! He's too young and inexperienced to compare with Strauss.

Yep Straussy is better, but Cook's start is remarkably similar to that of Mr Strauss.
