I've moved this topic to the County News Forum as i think its more of a general round up of county news and it may help to get this forum going a little. I'm not sure how much interest there will be in this but its a good start and hopefully the topic and this specific forum will grow.

Yorkshire vs Somerset - no play , rain.

Northampton 90-0 vs Leicestershire, Martin Love and Bilal Shafayat giving them a solid start , before the rain stopped play. Leicester , thrashed last week , not looking very threatening this week either!

Worcester 171 all out versus Durham. After winning the toss and 75-0 Worcester fell apart to an inspired spell of bowling by Mark Davies. He took the 1st 6 wickets to fall , finishing with 6-32. Paul Collingwood removed Graeme Hick and Steve Harmison went through the tail to finish off the innings.
Durham went along nicely to 139-2 at the close , despite Chaminda Vaas removing last weeks double centurion Mike Hussey for only 2.
