I bet you most of your wickets lost were run outs.

There is a new game out next week called Cricket Coach which looks
quite interesting. It is the successor to Michael Vaughan's Cricket
Manager or whatever it was called a few years back (and wasn't actually
very good to be truthful).
It looks quite promising.

I got a hattrick with Glenn McGrath in the first over of the West Indian Innings, including two dot balls, and with an impressive figures of 3-1.
On Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2005. All three of them clean bowled, by inswinging deliveries.

Anyone tried it yet?
I downloaded the demo but on reading the amount of bugs and mistakes reported I think I'll wait a bit before thinking about buying it. I'll stick with ICC for now.

I heard too many horror stories to be bothered with the demo. By the
sounds of it they are ages away from having a workable version.

I find Cricket 2005 much too complicated and just a bit boring. Brian lara is much more exciting, I love it.

Cricket 2005 is so hard to master in the batting side of things. You cant play shots unless your confidence is up and you can;t get it up coz you can;t play andy shots.. So i have to slog sweep a fast bowler to get the confidence up and play a shot. Alos it is nearly impossible to square cut and pull.. Also there is little pace variation.. But Cricket 2005 has Austoplay (generate innings) so when it get s boring youc an move on.

I always use Autoplay every match cause i havent got time for 50 overs or a test the hardest shot to play is the sweep shot i always hit straight in the air and the cut shot is not that hard but u have to move so far awya from your off stump

Yeh true, the sweep is easy, and i have mastered the reverse sweep. Straight drive for six, six through long on and mid wicket, slog sweep , cover drive and late cut are my best shots.

what r the keys for reverse sweep and how do u time while playing the cover-drive.
whats your highest score in 10 overs. i usually make 130 in 5-6 overs but in the last four overs could manage only abt 25-35 runs. i can't slog while the players r at the boundary so i find it diff. to score in the last 4 overs. fastest 50 is in 13 balls. what abt u guys?
and pls tell me keys for reverse sweep and also some tips if u have

This is my favourite cricket game and i find the most realistic/challenging one i have played, i have this on xbox and the only other cricket game to choose from is brian lara cricket which i dislike
does any1 know any other xbox cricket?
also on my xbox cricket 2005 i dont know how to save the game part way through a game so i can never play a test match without autoplaying some of it, is this me or does the game not allow you to save during a match?
