I'm wondering if any of you guys keep a note of all the scores you make and the averages for the positions which you bat at. Do you guys do that, or am I the only one?
I think it's a great idea to keep a note of all the scores you make during the season, and write down the averages for every position you bat at. It's a good thing to do because you can look back at the scores you've made in previous seasons to give you some self-confidence and it's also great for looking where you bat best at. So, do any of you guys do that? |

Ofcourse they do, but I mean do you keep a personal note of them all? I like to do that, because when one season finishes it's deleted from the site, and replaced with the new season stats.

I used to keep notes but they were more about how I would characterize the innings than the score. So I would try to note down what gave me trouble, why I thought I got out, how I thought I was moving my feet etc. It helped coz it gave me the things I need to work on in my game

i used to have a spreadsheet on the computer, that i plugged each score in and i got an average for each team, average runs per innings, average batting place etc, but then when i went out to bat, i thought about scoring 50, instead of the situation, so now i dont take note of the scores and let the stats take care of themselves

When I was younger I had something like this, then realised I didn't really want to keep it up so deleted it. You can buy proper books that are made specifically for this type of thing. Seems a tad odd to me, but when I was younger I wanted one |

Our league site keeps the stats through the years on it and it just updates it every year since we all have our own player IDs. If it didn't do that though, I'd probably record my stats.

I've made a excel spreadsheet that I enter my own stats into. It tells me my average, total runs and has a little graph that sorts my dismissals out. I've only just started it this season but will continue to do it.
