To make it easier, I thought having two threads would be less confusing. This thread is designed specifically for the 2nd XI, although remember if you preform well you can be elevated to the 1st XI.

Yeah I said I was an opening fast bowler who batted at either 5 or 6. That would be good if you could change it- cheers.

Ahahaha thats almost certainly what it would look like in a 'typical' game for me, finish with a nice little not out and take a couple (or in this case 1) of wickets while being the most economical.

After 2 innings and a confortable lead to the cricket world XI, the pitch for the 3rd day is crumbling and excellent for spin although swing bowlers are in for a treat with the new ball!

I'm Really quite terrible at batting, aren't I? You should be glad that I can bowl. One problem is that the team seems to be relying on me and spin wiz to get the wickets, NZ fast to keep their score down, and Tonks, Englandfan and paul nixon to get the runs |

Just an idea, but after all of the series are over, could we have a test tournament or something, with say 1 test, home and away
Teams could be :
1st XI
2nd XI
England
Austraillia
India
Sri Lanka
Pakistan
New Zealand
1st 4 teams through to semis, (1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd)
And then a final
