    Posted: 24 April 2007 at 11:28am
much like the england story, but this time what i prepose to do is make a cricketworld XI and then play them against real ODI and Test teams, in a fictional way.

But first i will need a Cricketworld XI

so if anybody fanices being in the Cricketworld XI tell me your:

batsmen/bowler/wicketkeeper

what type of bowler:

where you bat:

a fielding rating out of 10:

if this gets popular i might do a Cricketworld 2nd XI

Well, seeing as you don't have one yet >

batsman/bowler/wicketkeeper

what type of bowler:  reluctant, but can turn right arm over if beer is on offer

where you bat:  opener, facing up

a fielding rating out of 10:  10 if patrolling at deep fine leg, 6.5 elsewhere

When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat.

Batting All-Rounder

Right Arm Off-Break Bowler

Batting Position: 3/4/5 or 7

Fielding Rating: 8.5

By the way I may actually stop doing my story if no-one gives me comments on it because then I don't know how good you think it is, how I could improve it and it's not very encouraging if I'm taking time to do this story when it seems to me that no-one is reading it.

Cricketworld XI vs Australia!!!!!!! (5 day test match)- prematch report

ramzi has had his toe broken by Kerm in a practice net the day before the match

heres what the captain had to say "obviously its a big blow to the team but we have alot of good players that can fill in for him"

JP twisted his ankle in a catching session, but is expected to play.

dispite his bad resent form it is likely that Robbie will still open the batting against australia, he hopes to turn his fortunes around, after being out "hit wicket" in last weeks county match

the pitch looks to be good for both batsmen and bowlers, with a little bit of pace for the seam and swing bowlers, and a small amount of turn which is suppost to increase over the 5 days.
