Dear all,

Not only does the forum look a bit different today, so too does the main site - an extensive rebuild that we are very pleased with and we hope you like it too.

It is quite different from previous models, the colour scheme is different, there are some new pages, and there will be more to come.

Check it out, and let us know what you think.

Enjoy!

Introducing the Cricket World® Media Centre

I briefly wrote about this yesterday, but today I can announce the launch of our Media Centre. This will be the hub for Cricket World ® articles, blogs and opinion pieces.

We'd like your help though - we want to foster links between the forum and the main site and develop a sense of community. We're asking for you guys to effectively become guest contributors, so send in any articles, blogs, quotes that you think would be interesting.

We're already showcasing the forum by featuring some of the best discussions and quotes.

Check out the page at http://www.cricketworld.com/media_centre - let us know what you think and if you want to get involved, you're more than welcome to.

Introducing West Indies Player Diaries

Cricket World has teamed up with Digicel to bring you the thoughts and experiences of Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Denesh Ramdin as they try and win the World Cup for the West Indies.

Have a look here for more info and then here for the diaries themselves.

Return of Cricket World® Radio/TV

JP's podcasts are back, as is Cricket World® Radio. Each weekday, we will be putting together the Lunchtime Report, which will be available as a downloadable podcast.

We are also going to offer the same podcast, but with some TV style effects and more information, which will be available to all - you don't have to download, you simply open the page and the show will start automatically.

This is still very much in the stage of experimentation so it's far from the finished article, but please have a listen/watch and let us know what you think.

Vote now in the Cricket World® Awards - will you agree with the ICC and hand Mitchell Johnson the player of the year award? Or will Shivnarine Chanderpaul win our award as he did last year?

Click here and fill in the form to vote.

Hello everyone,

I'd just like to draw a couple of things to everybody's attention just ahead of the World Cup - which gets underway in a few weeks from now.

1) We've upgraded the main website (www.cricketworld.com) and would welcome any thoughts, suggestions on the new look.

2) Secondly, and this is something we've been asked for before, you can now add your own comments to news articles on the website. You can either use your Facebook account or take a short amount of time to register a Cricket World.

As ever, we invite your comments and we'll try our best to respond to any queries you raise.

Don't forget to also join the debate on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cricketworld) or follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/cricket_world)
