yeah i must say i have to agree in real life (i don't know the sim might be different) Bevan was an awsome one-day player, he was like a human computer always finishing aussie innings with poise and stability always knowing how many left to get.

Expirence is not a factor in my sim, and it shouldn't be in most other sims. Hussey, is also an awsome one-day player.

I’m a little disappointed in a few mangers who haven’t named their starting XI yet. A reminder that all the matches are played on Wednesday and Saturday. That gives plenty of time to name your XI. If you are going on holiday or something, please tell me so I would know. If your computer broke down, just try to make sure it doesn’t do that again. Your computer doesn’t break down every week. Please make more of an effort next time.

Round 2 matches have been played

Australia v New Zealand

The Kiwis put on a poor performance as Australia recorded another comfortable victory. Matthew Hayden scored 82 as he won the man of the match award. The Australian bowlers destroyed the New Zealand batting order.

Bangladesh v India

Bangladesh put on a descent challenge for India but the visitors were too good for them. They won by 45 runs, with man of the match Anil Kumble getting 4 for 31 off 8 overs.

Zimbabwe v England

Zimbabwe made an odd decision to let England bat first on a good batting pitch. England posted a massive total of Zimbabwe to chase; Zimbabwe fell short by just 80 runs. Kevin Pieterson scored a memorable century.

Pakistan v South Africa

In a very sc**ppy match, South Africa won comfortably by 3 wickets with over 10 overs to spare. No batsman managed to score a half century. It was a bowler’s day.

Sri Lanka v West Indies

Sri Lanka posted 302 on a poor pitch. They thrashed the West Indies by 136 runs in the end. It was a very good day for the Sri Lankans.

All score cards can be viewed here. Click here

Ladder

Australia 8
South Africa 8

England 8
Pakistan 4
West Indies 4
India 4
Sri Lanka 4

Zimbabwe 0
New Zealand 0
Bangladesh 0

Round 3 Matches

Zimbabwe v Australia

Bangladesh v Pakistan

New Zealand v South Africa

Sri Lanka v England

India v West Indies

Round 3 matches are played this Saturday. So can the managers of Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and India please name a pitch condition and a venue for your match. Some of you didn’t do that last round so please make more of an effort this round.

Brendon Taylor seems to be bowling well! I think Zimbabwe has potential and may cause an unlikely upset against Australia on Saturday. Rather odd decision to bowl though that may have cost us the game.

, I can just imagine someone sending thier computer through therapy!

Computer: "I just can't handle it all, I'm cant remember anything and all the other laptops say I am slow" !

This time I would like a random pitch and at the same venue (Harare Statdium)

Same team too!

Come on guys, I need more people naming their starting XI each week. I'll be sending PMs to those who haven't named their starting XI in a while.

Round 3 matches have been played

Zimbabwe v Australia

Zimbabwe restricted Australia to an average score. However, the Australian bowlers were too good for the Zimbabwean batsman as they were bowled out for just 146. Matthew Hayden is in brilliant form, he scored a century as he took the man of the match award once again.

Bangladesh v Pakistan

The whole world was completely shocked with the result of this match. Bangladesh caused the first upset of the tournament, beating Pakistan by a comfortable 6 wickets. Pakistan was bowled out for a woeful 159.

New Zealand v South Africa

New Zealand's horror start to the tournament continues as they record the 3rd consecutive loss. New Zealand was bowled out for a woeful 164. The South African batsman chased down the total easily with 9 wickets to spare.

Sri Lanka v England

In a very even match, England finished as winners. James Anderson continues to spark with 4 wickets in the match to win the man of the match award

India v West Indies

The West Indies struggled to bat on the poor pitch, they were bowled out for 187. India also struggled to bat on the poor pitch, they struggled to chase down the total but was successful with just 2 wickets to spare.

All scorecards can be viewed here. Click here

Ladder

Australia 12
South Africa 12
England 12
India 8
Pakistan 4
West Indies 4
Sri Lanka 4
Bangladesh 4
New Zealand 0
Zimbabwe 0

Round 4 matches

Australia v Bangladesh
India v South Africa
Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka
New Zealand v Pakistan
West Indies v England

Managers of Australia, India, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, and West Indies must name a pitch condition and a venue for this round. Round 3 matches are played this Wednesday.

I think everyone named their starting XI this round. Keep up the good work. Wolves f c 1, you can keep your job.

EnglandFan, Im not sure why you have named 5 extra members of your starting XI. You have already named an 18 man squad, no need to reduce it or change it.

Round 4 matches have been played.

Australia v Bangladesh

Bangladesh almost caused a big upset, falling short of Australia’s total of 278 by 3 runs. Shahriar Nafees century wasn’t enough to take his side over the line. Michael Hussey won man of the match award with his quick fire 96 of just 73 balls.

India v South Africa

None of the Indian batsman except Sehwag made a descent score on the poor batting pitch. The Indians were bowled out for 192. South Africa chased down their total comfortably with nearly 10 overs to spare and 7 wickets in hand. South Africa is one of the teams to beat after it recorded its 4 consecutive victory.

Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka

The Sri Lankans were too good for the gutsy Zimbabweans as they recorded a 4 wicket victory. The Zimbabweans got plenty of positives out of this match.

New Zealand v Pakistan

Pakistan didn’t make good use of the excellent batting pitch. The New Zealand bowlers restricted Pakistan to a total of 218. New Zealand easily chased down the score with more than 10 overs to spare and 8 wickets in hand. Astle’s 88 of 79 was the highlight of the day, he won the man of the match award.

West Indies v England

The West Indies made good use of the poor pitch, bowling England out for just 180. The West Indies chased down 180, they found it very challenging.

All scorecards can be viewed here. Click here.

Ladder

Australia 16

South Africa 16

England 12

Sri Lanka 8

India 8

West Indies 8

Bangladesh 4

Pakistan 4

New Zealand 4

Zimbabwe 0

Round 5 Fixtures

Australia v Pakistan

Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

New Zealand v England

Sri Lanka v India

South Africa v West Indies

Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and South Africa are playing at home, so the managers of the countries have to name a pitch condition and a venue. Only one manager has been naming venues. I need everyone to name it.

With no points on the board and some gutsy efforts but nothing to show for it, it's times like this all you can do is laugh ! At least we have been rather competitive! It should be a good match against Bangladesh!
