When buying a custom bat, how much about it can you actualy specify yourself, and to what detail?

It probably varies from batmaker to batmaker but the best ones will most likely give you a very significant say in what is created

it is worth getting one, but it is also worth looking at bats off the shelf and picking them up(rather than ordering from the net),

whilst alot of pros do have bats made for them, many still actually get their bats off the shelf, such as mark boucher used to use the same original LE bats as the public buy until january, when other GM players picked up their custom bats, he picked bats that he liked,

so with custom made bats you generally get exactly what you want(it would be best to visit) but if you can look at the bat you are buying it is sometimes worth getting a cheaper off the shelf

boo ha ha!

Nice, so you can specify quite a lot of stuff then. I may get one for me next bat, but it'll be a while before I get another bat.
