Now there's a nice surprise!!

Thanks folks , it's terrific to see the forum grow and see opinions from all around the globe. Very few people can afford to travel the world to watch the game we love (me included!) and the next best thing is to hear from the cricket mad supporters in their home countries.

We have over 1000 members now and I expect by this time next year it could well be double that! Tell all your mates who love the game to join up and enjoy this terrific place.

Well done to Clobs , JP and especially AK. As Claps mentioned , the quality of his posts has risen dramatically as have those of Dips , Dravid and Dhoni , to mention but three.

Finally thanks to Dips and AK for collating all the information and presenting these awards.

If you ever make it to Cape Town I'll buy you a drink (soft drink for you youngsters though! )
Mental disintegration works for me !!

Congratulations to the worthy winners, infact thats the list I sent, so atleast most of us don't differ on our choices as far as the forum is concerned.

Probably we will have an award for most enthusiastic poster from a non test playing country too! Abu may be the first winner or the guy from scotland!

Infact would love to see the most controversial of the lot as well!

I heard that soft drinks made you hyped up a lot so I think thats why its gone but to be honest you should be proud of that cause you know for sure there is hardly junks in your system.

Anyways , Congrats to Sledger , Clobber and -JP- and being crowned the cricket world members of the year. They really deserve it. Sledger the Joker and charismatic leader with scintillating posts. Clobber , the lean mean machine who always throws in the odd jokes and his posts are top notch too. -JP- , one of the most helpful lad on the forum and his leadership here is magnificent.

Well done AK for your improvement on the forum. Your post are much better now than when I first joined. Well done to dips as well. I'm sure he would have been next in line for most improved member.

Overall , we are all great members of the forum and I hope we can keep it up. Clobber I think you made the Battrick thread so how about a speech as well and one for the runner up for cricket world member of the year.

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.
