Dinesh Karthik

Do you think that he needs to come back for atleast on form of the game. He can bat really well and can be fiery also. I think he should come back for Tests. He is very talented and deserves a place in the squad.

as long as dhoni is in town i dont think kartik will get a shot to play for india, maybe in cosolation matches

A decent back up, but Dhoni has more talent and will be the long term option

Sorry mate can't do that. Powar is a spinner and he's really important for the team. He is the future of spinning attack in the future. Selectors have to put in place of a random cricketer they choose.

They can keep him in the WC for the matches against Bermuda and all. This is no experiment TaNk, he has been in the team before and shwon what he has. Anyway he can come for the Test side once in a while. Thats not connected to the World Cup. He is more dependable than Dhoni at times in Tests.

He was in the team last year. He was pretty good. Id you would remember the match between Indo-Pak last year where Dravid made 2 hundreds in a row then you will remember him. When no one was with Dravid, he kept company and made 94 against a ferocious bowling attack of Pakistan. Their partnership was worth about 200 odd runs.

What position does he play because if he's the wicket keeper I don't see him replacing Dhoni, he's too much of an icon.

hmm Dhoni came in with a blast and now his like those average players. man when he came in i was like yes finally some one who can hit a ball miles, but its like he gets lucky when his hitting , i know am going get replys against me saying this but here goes, he needs to lose weight he doesnt have quick reaction time, and dont tell me his taken some gd catches thats normal for a wicket keeper his fat and he needs to lose weight, id say get kartik in.

I'v seen him playing he is a thinking player and can be useful at difficult situations.

He'll never get his place back. Karthik is anyday better than him and will be the to replace Dhoni at times like now. He bats exactly like Bradden. Some quick fire innings like him and better wicket-keeping that Dhoni. To tell the truth, he is very good under pressure and way better than Dhoni. I would trust him a lot, ever since he hit that 91 against Pakistan which got the game back for India.

Last year when Dravid made a century is both innings. When the whole team collapsed and Laxman retires fro being hit in the eye by Sami and were sure to lose, he had a 200+ run partnership and India won the game. Kumble took 7 wickets in the game too (He has done that too many a time to remember when the last time was when he did it).
