Yea, if he's the anchor then he should bat at no. 5. That's where Inzamam (Pakistan's anchor) bats.

Dravid should bat at number 4 or 5. He can anchor the batting.

u r wrong miniwarney. if nit no.3 then no.4. not 5. 5 should be yuvraj. most common odi top 5. sehwag, tendulkar, ganguly, dravid, yuvraj. if changes then. sehwag, tendulkar, dhoni, dravid/ganguly, dravid/ yuvraj(if ganuly no.4 on the this occasion the dravid no.5)

As a No.3 you are basically an opener because more times then not the opener will get out early, he has to be able to dominate and score runs quite well and not get bogged down and put pressure on his partners. Ponting and Gibbs do this role well. Dravid has to definately bat at No.5 to steady the innings in case the team is in trouble and if tehy are cruising then there is no pressure on him at No.5 and he doesn't have to b e 'the wall', he can play more strokes. |

i think he should come around no. 3 or 4 most of the time. he can make more centuries and become a better player. he hold a record of averaging 60 in that position.
