Absolutely wonderful news coming in from Zimbabwe, Brendon Taylor (A "White") has been appointed as the captain of the national team and this is a big step forward for Zimbabwe cricket as this certainly puts an end to the "race" problems that their cricket was facing a few years ago that lead to the departure of a lot of their best players (most of them "white").
I'm delighted to see how well Zimbabwe cricket has gone about in the last one year, they also have a very good season of international cricket ahead of them with Australia A, South Africa A touring them followed by Bangladesh and Pakistan and then they have couple of series against the West Indies and New Zealand (which will be lead by another Taylor, Ross) So administration finally seems to be on the right path for ZImbabwe and it's now timke for Taylor and his men to show some good performances on the field and I'm sure it will come sooner rather than later. |
