A lot of good things have happened ever since Zaka Ashraf has taken over, not only has he changed the selection panel but has also got a foreign head coach and fielding coach to help the team, that too among the very best of coaches, Dav Whatmore and Julian Fountain. He has also been keen on rehabilitating Mohammed Aamer and has gone on to say Aamer will be considered for selection once he servers his ban and undergoes rehabilitation. He is also close to bringing cricket back to Pakistan should BAN tour in April.

All these are signs of a wise man and I hope Zaka stays on as president for 10 years.

On Farhat and Hafeez, well, I'm no Hafeez fan but may be he can just stay on for the time being. Farhat should go for sure now and his father-in-law is gone, Ahmed Shahzad has scored a 47 ball century in the Semi-Final of the BPL and was the highest run-getter in the tournament, he must get a chance for the Asia Cup. It'll also be good if the selection panel selects Talha or Sadaf ahead of Cheema for the ODI's. I'd also like to see Hammad playing more often and batting higher up the order.

God is a better planner... so whenever u'r plan fails, cheer up... God has a better plan for you!
