so just thought i'd ask, who is going to be next years :-

* Best Batsmen (say most runs etc)
* "      Bowler
* "      All-rounder
* "      Overseas Player
* Most Improved Player
* Most Exciting Young Talent

Obviously this isn't meant to be restricted topic, its basically me wanting to know as much as possible for next season. Please post whoever you believe may do well this season. The categories are just a kind of guideline for me Smile

Cant wait for the new season to start. I'm a durham fan by the way, don't think we'll do any better than last year! But i suppose it was an improvement from years previous! Tongue

 I expect Rudolph to struggle early on , but as the summer progresses he could make a shedload of runs.
Mental disintegration works for me !!

Most prolific batsmen will be the usual suspects - Ramprakash, Crawley etc

Same for the bowlers - Mushy followed by daylight is the most likely outcome in the bowling stakes.

I'm loving the notion that 35 year Ronnie Irani will have improved dramatically over the winter!

Young players - if fit Mark Footit could make an impression. Billy Goddleman looks an interesting albeit unconventional prospect, Sam Northeast may break into the Kent first team and Chris Jordan has arrived at Surrey with a big reputation although he might be too young to be seenn out and about much this season. For my own team I want to see a long overdue first class run given to Jim Allenby.

Im not just saying this because I'm a Worcester fan but i think Bollinger and Jacques could have a great season. Whenever Austalians come over to England they look a different class. The mentality is totally different and they seem to just want it more.

Samit Patel has had a great start so far and i thik it will continue also Mark Ealham will have a good season, mainly with the ball but also some heavy hiting. Elsewhere i expect a lot from James Hildreth, James Benning and Rashid as he looks to be very handy with both bat and ball and is definatley one to watch over the next 2 or 3 years.
Great start Notts keep it up!!!
