moreover you cannot compare the two , coz one is accumulator while the other is slam bang at the top of opening .

Anwar was undoubtely more technically sound , while Jayasurya was always blasting off.

Anwar better batsmen, Jayasuriya a better player.

Saeed could only bat, sluggish fieldsmen and could not bowl.

Sanath can bat and very attackingly, handy left armer and a better fieldsmen then Saeed.

Saeed Anwar and Jasuri both get fame on the base of their batting.

Jasuria is not good bowler to be in team

anwar isn't a bowler but even though he was a great bats man and for me better then jasuria. he still has the record for the highest runs in odi (by the way  i thougt it might get broken in the match of the assues and S.A) and i don't think now any one will be beating it. i hope s butt grows into a good bats men just like him both being left handed openers.

Butt is a good prospect , shows class , only thing i doubt about him is his temperment and maturity.

Regarding anwar's record , it will be broken soon , remember when dhoni this 183 NOT OUT , he did not have enough runs to break the record , the target was reached. Soon he will do it or Shewag/Sachin.

From other countries I suspect anyone of them can do a 200 on a day

Gayle,Trescotik,Gibbs,Gilly,Ricky,Afridi, smith,Astle, fulton, lara have potential on their day to break the record.

so why havent they done it yet the if it so so easy target has been there for long enough and talking about sachin i don't think so he will never get close to it. but some of the players that you mentioned might have a chance we will just have to see.

Jayasuria is a good player at slowing the run rate down, and it gets the batsman annoyed.

So u all r saying Saeed has beaten Jasuria in batting.because u start comparing there bowling.

Saeed and Jasuria both get fame on the base of their batting, not on bowling.Jasuria is not as good to compare with Warne,Kumble,Kaneria etc but Saeed Anwar is good enough to compare with Lara or Tendulkar.

Saeed Anwar gets retired early.
He has good record than Jasuria
His average is also good than Jasuria

The highest score in ODIs also belongs to Saeed Anwar.

u cannot say Dhoni,Afridi or any other player will break his record because u cannot guess but u can go on present stats and present stats are the highets ODI score is 194 and the score is scored by Saeed Anwar

I agree ANIL KUMBLE, he does not compare in the Sachin/Lara/Ponting/Dravid class and what RIND is doing is SPAMMING.

Actually the highest score in ODI's belongs to former AUstralian skipper Belinda Clark, 223* (Something like that) versus Denmark.

Yes I am correct in saying that...Soooo SAeed NAwar is the record holder, and many Indian's will like hearing that.

Anyway, Jayasuriya is a better player, it is not a topic that states who is a better batsmen.

Plus Sanath has a mammoth ODI innings too of 180 odd. Ans he has a 340 to his name in tests.

don't worry mini the score of 194 will be broken ,and gues who will break it  Dhoni or Shewag will do it.

Dhoni was short of runs to hit a double century when he scored 183* Not out [Highest score by a wicketkeeper].

Moreover when dhoni hit that 183 , you could see that he was not tired a bit , unlike Anwar who scored 194 by keeping Afridi as runner , who was running like a hare even before saeed was making contact.

In that 194 by saeed , I think you should give some 50+ runs to Afridi's credit for running non-Existing runs.
