But that match doesn't really matter? Windies are knocked out, Bangladesh will go through to the next round.

BAN are on such a roller coaster arent they?

They must be on such a high now.  They are having one heck of a year.  T20s should give these team a better chance to pose a threat against the 'big guns' since they just have to play out of their skins for 40 overs as opposed to 100 overs.

As each match goes by though, it doesnt seem like BAN are playing out of their skins.  These guys really believe they can go the distance and back themselves to knock some big teams out.  This is great for cricket!!!

Probably everyone of the Minnow teams (Bangladesh, Zim etc) and perhaps even the Windies.

And those teams will take it seriously, so unless Australia want to be repeatedly humiliated by Zimbabwe, they have to take it seriously. Stern%20Smile

South Africa & West Indies are both very one-dimensional teams in terms of bowling styles. On top of that, WI fielding is pretty bad.

Haha, when I heard Windies lost, I knew I had to except something from Rifat!

I woke up to watch the match, lost some sleep, watched the Windies play sh*t - thankfully I didn't get to see the whole game. I couldn't concentrate good in College because I was sleepy! West Indies are something else eh?

Bangladesh went at the run chase the right way. Windies waited a bit too late to start to attack and they are Lucky that Dwayne Smith was on fire! Windies again dropping the man who played the innings that saw them depart!!

Rasel bowled very well and if teams were smart, they should know by now that we West Indians like the ball coming on fast, or slow from spinners. Medium pacers will trouble us!

Select a new captain?? Are you being funny?? I have to ask because you just CANNOT be serious! Let's see the list of captains...there was Lara, then Chanders, then Lara again, now Sarwan......
Now you tell me how many more captains does the windies to change for everyone to realise that captaincy is not the problem! It's a rubbish team and it does not matter who the captain is there is not going to be a magical change with the windies performances!

*Cough.
I love those comments. The winning margin says it all.
Nice Rifat.....you really rubbed it in there!       By the way congrats on your team's performance.....they should be happy with their win but not too glad because remember it's just west indies (one waste of time team!)

Superb duck in my book. I first got a looked at the score and it was 8/1. I was praying for D. Smith to be the one gone but i got a shockwave when i saw gayle gone for Duck on the scorecard and i sense a bit of trouble also.

Oh don't disgrace South Africa by using "West Indies" in the same sentence with them!Confused "pretty bad" does not even start to describe the west indies' fielding!

Daisy we west Indian fans are used to losing so a defeat like today can't put me in any bad mood. It all going against me as a sports fan. Windies doing horrible and Manchester united struggling as well.

I hope Bang send a gift to F. Edwards because the season for giving has come very early this year.

Yep, Daisy, very use to that now. The lost didn't get to me though, as I didn't see whole match.

Well done Bnagladesh. They totally outclassed West Indies. The main problem what I saw with west indies is their bowling attack, gave many runs and not taken wickets when they needed most.
