Unfortunately that's the nature of 20twenty cricket-meaningless.

Kenya's fielding is appalling compared to the other two - they will be beaten with ease by both sides.

Kenya? Are you kidding? NZ and Sri Lanka are two of the top ODI sides in the world, I'm sure they'll have no trouble in dispatching Kenya.

Sri Lanka are arguably the strongest side of the tournament on paper.  On and paper being the keywords there.

NZ and Sri Lanka should be equal. They both have power hitters whom are ideal for 20/20. It'll be interesting to see how Murali and Malinga bowl. By the way, are all Sri Lanka's players involved?

Kenya looks like the team that will be knocked out of this group. NZ vs SL should be interesting. Both very good teams.

NZ will have a totally revamped batting line up for this tournament, I just read.  McCullum will not be keeping in order to focus on opening the batting with Vincent.  Oram will be batting at #3.  Thats a powerful to-order, I must say.

I think its great to have Oram at 3, he is a big hitter but takes just a little bit to get going, and batting at 3 should, in theory give him an over or two,  to work some 1's and 2's before really going for it.
McCullum is always explosive at the top of the order, and i like what ive seen of vincent in domestic 20/20, he didn't get inventive, played good shots, just hit 5x as hard.

I don't see the need to play unorthodox shots - proper hitting , especially over the top will earn it's just rewards. How many times do you see a reverse sweep that earns just a single?  Yes , occasionally there's a boundary , but conversely there's sometimes a wicket!

Good clean hitting will win the tournament , aided by sensible bowling and topclass fielding.  Tis a simple game , cricket.

You're right there! There's potential at the top of NZ's order for once! In this form of the game McCullum and Oram are ideal. I'd like to see Vincent bat through the 20 overs also as he only really shines once he's settled in.
Good one Graham!

Oram will be a man to watch. It wouldve been good to see Fleming bat, if he gets his eye in, then its usually good entertainment.

My mind change me ain't missing none of New Zealand match especially when they are batting because I think there will be lots of fire, fire, fire.
Mccullum, vincent and oram at the top. Me ain't missing a ball when they play Kenya.

Will Bondy a.k.a the breadwinner, be watching the league, the rugby or the cricket?

Let me ask you a question Sammy, what's your number one sport or in other words, which sport are you really mad about the most?

Don't get me wrong, I love cricket and love watching it, but, I have other sports which I also like, of which are obvious to you. I'm not just a cricket fanatic like some around here, as I've said before rugby is bigger in NZ than cricket, so im more inclined to watch the all blacks over the black caps. Plus, it's NRL finals time so I'm also watching that.
