I only have the one grip on may bat, but I wish I had 2. My old bat had 2 and I found it much better. Unfortunately I don't know how to put on grips.

go to a local cricket shop and they will fit one for you or just buy a grip applicator.

one i think everyone should try, which is more for feel than anything, if you use 2 or more grips, the top grip is a herringbone grip, and the second from top is a studded grip, such as the bas vampire studded grips, gives really good grip

try personnalising your grips.
2grips cut in half on the top of the handle. the bottom of the grip should be where your right hand middle finger rests so your index and sum hold the handle where there is no grip. or an ordinnary grip cut in half and a thicker one (spiral one for example) cut in half. Allways put the thicker half on the bottom of the handle and the thinner half at the top of the handle. Do try first with old(ish) grips. |

most shops offer to put the new grip straight over the old one because its easier for them! Although some people do prefer a thicker handle. |
