Big news, but no need to type it three times, TANZ.

Wasim Jaffer comes in to take his place and may well play instead of Gambhir in Ahmadebad.

I agree with you. Ganguly made 40 and 39. They should have kept him atleast for the third test.

GANGULY must be feeling very down at the moment.. I am shocked why not a single reply from  sachin, dravid or kumble ? They should come front and support Saurav. He still deserves a place in Team, as he is the main man in building the Team India

I don't think any of them like Ganguly and I think they all want him out of the team.

Or that they don't want to take sides and create any more problems between the coach, team, selectors, media.

Latest is that they may be willing to accommodate Ganguly on the tour of Pakistan, just so he can play one last match as a farewell.

I can't believe that they are actually planning to give Ganguly a farewell match. I hope he scores a century in that match and they will just keep him.

Ganguly is a good player, but he has been in poor form for a while now and even though he has been performing somewhat better these days, the selectors are trying to end his career.

I would like to see Tendulkar blasting another Test hundred. But it is really sad that there is no Ganguly tomorrow.India would surely win tomorrow. Good luck to Dravid&co.

The last test of the test series started yesterday.

India finished at 247 for 6 at the end of day 1. They were looking in trouble at 97 for 5 but Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni brought them back into the game. Dhoni made a brilliant 49, just shy of his half century. At the end of the day it was Yuvraj on 71* and Pathan on 39*.

Lunch on day 2 and India are 319-7. Pathan continues his fine batting form and is unbeaten on 66. VVS Laxman got his ton , but went soon after for 104.

391-9 and Agarkar goes for a spirited 26. India's last pair of Kumble and Harbajhan at the crease - pretty decent players for 10 and jack !!

India all out for 398 and Sri Lanka quickly in trouble as Pathan strikes , removing Tharanga , caught behind for just 2.

Sri Lanka 16-1 after 4 overs...

Did you happen to check when I posted that? December 17th, according to my time and that was before the match started, it was a wild guess.

Harbajhan Singh has ripped through the Sri Lankan top order , taking 5-36 off 15 potent overs. Kumble has one too and the visitors are on their knees at 156-7 inreply to India's 398.

The follow on target of 199 must be 1st priority , and Dilshan is the man who must get them to it. He's on 46 and with him is Bandara who's yet to score.

Very funny!

Since your first language is probably not English and you are not very good in English (it's obvious), I will explain to you what a wild guess is.

A wild guess is a guess that has nothing to support it. You just learned something new. Congradulations.

I get wild against India only because I want to prove the point that Pakistan is better than India but I never ever use coarse language.

Sri Lanka are getting early wickets. India are struggling at 42 for 3. They are leading by 234 runs with 7 wickets remaining. Right now Yuvraj is at 0* and Gambhir is at 15*.

India 120-5 and only Yuvraj showing any real resistance with a defiant 45*. All 5 frontline bowlers have taken a wicket for Sri Lanka. Murali not having the same success as Harbajhan enjoyed earlier today. Dhoni on 8 is partnering Yuvraj.

The lead though is a healthy 316 and that might be enough already.

India on to huge lead of 475 an easy win match for India.Huge acchlods to Yuvraj 75 .again missing out his century.

A worst umpiring by Nadeem Gouri making imp wickets sachin and gambir to depart..

srilanka seems no match for india..

India are going to win this match for sure. There is no way that SL can even draw this one.
