Are you serious Raj? I'd really like to see India get 10 wickets on this pitch.

Very wishful. Such a poor wicket. Both teams have good batting line ups and were going to make a meal of this wicket. I hate these kind of tests, they don't expose true talent.

Let us also blame the inept bowling attacks of both the teams. Both are missing key bowlers - flat wicket or not - have to say the bowlers in the match have been toothless to say the least.

I agree on SL but apart from Zaheer who else is India missing and even Zaheer is over-rated.

That's not fair on him I guess. Zaheer is pretty good - Sreesanth is no world beater but they have missed him too.

Yes Zaheer is a very good bowler but still he is over-rated becuz of India's bowling lineup he is the only one who could trouble good batsman.

The Lankans bowled 35 overs to the number 10 and 11 - no matter how bad the wicket is - this is just inept bowling from the Lankans.

Yes , that's because he does not need to pitch the ball on the pitch - he has that yorker which other s don't in either side.

One side of the ball slightly scuffs and you'll see the Pakis reverse it. Only cricketers I ever saw who could use dull conditions like this to their favour. Why? Because they move the ball in the air, the wicket's only effect is to scuff the ball, that is all. Bounce and nip are irrelevant if you can move the ball in the air.

haha, I agree with Zuhair, seems rather unintentional to me.
But yes, guys are quite right, tail-enders, especially of the calibre of Ishant Sharma have no call batting 35 overs and even in the first test when India let Herath and Malinga put on soo many runs, it was a disgrace to bowlers. Seriously, no matter how inept I am at bowling, I don't think those tail-enders would last 5 overs against me because I'd be letting down some thunderbolts in between some juicy leggies.

I like them to score so much but this has really made me laugh!!! You guys are spot on, no team, no matter what the pitch cal allow tailenders to bat for so long and even India allowing Malinga and hearth in the last game... very very weak bowling line ups, very weak. Zaheer, by the way, is a really fine bowler, India have missed him, no doubts about that. I don't how many of us notice but in most of the test matches that India have won in recent times it has been Zaheer who has provided them with the most crucial breakthroughs / breakthroughs when no one else is able to provide.

Perhaps they should use that physical toughness to intimidate the groundsmen into making a decent pitch.
