Hi gang! I'm somewhat new to cricket. Meaning I had a chance to play back in the 80's, but now I'm going to devote as much time as I can. So bare with me as I get going.

As for favorite teams and all, I don't really have one. But, the one time I got to play was in Perth. I was there for two weeks and the girl I was dating, her brother played. Not sure if he meant(at the time) to hit me as much as he did, but I kept going back for more!(not just the sister) Cricket is hit and miss here in the states. So info is in short supply. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I just found out that a buddy of mine is related to a guy who plays pro in Pakistan. He is going to let me know more about him later(its his cousin).  Not sure if he's apart of the Paki/India test but I'll know more by tomorrow.

And I know have four more people in my area wanting to learn how to play!!

Hi guys ..

i am Sandeep..from India.

First Let me tell u .. this is the soooper forum.I enjoy reading all posts here especially krisdy and saad.

I am 23 and i love and enjoy cricket (like every Indian).
I dont know why we love this game so much.when a match starts with India, all the crores of people here will be busy infront of TVs , Radios, sites..anything that could fetch them scores.wherever they are.whole country will be discussing cricket.thats quite amazing.ok.. i am going off topic..I play lot of cricket with my friends..no club nothing..I hav kept my name as santech..as i am fascinated by the technologies.I dream of mastering the software technology.

Prayas:: why do you need to hate indian players..??

Hey i'm Alex or just Al, I'm from merry old England in cheshire. I don't actually play for a cricket team as i only really got into it during the ashes but i'm just trying to improve my play when i'm playin just for fun down the park with warnester and me other mates. i've only just started supporting Lancashire as they're me "local" team but i'm ABSOLUTELY GUTTED that Murali's gone. As you've probably guessed i'm a massive fan of his. Anyway that's me and i'd love to hear more about any of you lot.Phew! That was a mouthful.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Hi i'm Jyothika.
I joined quite a few days ago, but i just read this topic now. I'm a girl (just so that everyone knows as many people think that i'm a boy). I love cricket and i am a very big indian fan. I live in england but india's my home country so i have to support them, however, i support england third, (Sri Lanka's second because my dad was born there.) Anyway, i don't know a lot about cricket so i hope that i can learn a lot through this forum and get to know many more people too.

Welcome on board, everybody and specially the girls, coz so far cricket is mainly perceived as men's sports, though there are women cricket teams around the world having a lil bit less fame.
