Being fat does not mean much. Ranatunga was fatter than Inzi, was a good runner, who always kept fielders interested because of his walking runs. He was slow on ground fielding, but agile enough for short catching.
And (?because of weight) they were run machines latter in their careers. and also imposing on officials due to thier looks. I don't think any other captain looks imposing than Inzamam at the moment. So there are some plus points being fat |

well first to answer the question. I think he shouldnt be allowed to play. Just like how this south australia guy, mark cleary (i think) wasnt allowed to play for being excessively overweight.
number 2: i dont see how calling someone a fatass is racist. Its about his figure, not about his race. he didn't say all pakis were fat or something, just inzy is fat. oh, and he is a bit overweight. 3: i forgot when but there was a funny line made by the commentator during a match with pakistan. it went something like this: "and the batsmen hits the ball to mid off and inzy takes off like a startled, water buffalo" oh Very funny, its just funny..., the commentator... |

Fat or not if he can make runs and hold catches, dive around in the field and lead a team , he should continue to play, infact if darren gough with all his weight can run upto the wicket and bowl, so why cant inzi do it. Secondly there is no law in cricket which restricts any one on weight catagory, otherwise beefy would have taken three places for england!

Fat or not he still has a lot left in him and is also one great player. Made records whcih are very difficult to break. So SEHWAG N0.1 please dont make such racial comments. It really spoils the forum.
