Ok it is 4pm SA Time at this stage still tied, will we decide Monday??

Some of the other members has also not yet send their squads, SA and India coaches. Maybe they don't know about this yet?

I saw into the future - Ashes 2009 England 3 Australia 1!

OK, we'll decide when everyone has had their say, then we'll get on with the tournament - as I don't have all the squads, I probably wouldn't be able to start on Monday anyway.

So far it's 2-1 against the idea of being able to name 5 ODI legends in your squad.

For Example Ramzi can not select D.Bradman because he has not played ODI's but he can choose Dean Jones or Mark Waugh.

Otherwise it will be a toss up between RSA and Australia once again, it could be really fun to see how Viv Richards or Graham Gooch have done against todays players.

That make it clearer warnester?

Warnester, we're still in the process of 'voting' for whether we have legends or not.

Anyway, you'd have to go for Ranatunga, Aravinda de Silva, Kaluwaithurana, Wickramasinghe, as much of the 1996 winning team as you could really.

Cheers Rhys, although hold on for a bit in case we decide to go for the legends idea. In the meantime, state whether you're for or against.

No warnester, FIVE legends are allowed only. That is, if you want to play it that way.

do you know what, i disagree, i think there is no poit medalling with the system and just keep it modernised, it would be alot easier for those who dont have great teams. Just keep it to 2006 please

OK, no legends, here's the schedule, we'll start on Wednesday if that's ok with everyone.

Group games

Wednesday: Australia v Scotland, South Africa v Netherlands, Sri Lanka v Bermuda, India v Bangladesh, Kenya v Canada, England v New Zealand, Zimbabwe v Ireland, West Indies v Pakistan

Thursday: Australia v Netherlands, South Africa v Scotland, India v Bermuda, Sri Lanka v Bangladesh, England v Canada, Kenya v New Zealand, Pakistan v Ireland, West Indies v Zimbabwe

Friday/Saturday: Scotland v Netherlands, Australia v South Africa, India v Sri Lanka, Bermuda v Bangladesh, New Zealand v Canada, England v Kenya, Zimbabwe v Pakistan, West Indies v Ireland

Next week, Super 8:

Week after, Semi-finals and Final

So far, I only have squads from England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, India, Scotland, Australia and Pakistan. If no squads are forthcoming by tomorrow from the others, I'll let anyone else who is interested take over them. If there's no interest, then we'll just run the World Cup between the squads I have.

Yes, all these mini-spinners, got me a bit confused. Anyway, who is Shaikh Russel? I can find no reference to him - do you want to pick someone else in his place?
