Nothing like beating India. Glad the bowlers did a fantastic job on a responsive wicket.

ah! I was not checking this, damn we lost. I'd have gone with the same team for that game anyways.
JP it could really help if you can put up individual stats of the players too after every game, I remember you used to do this the last time we played in your sim. Edited by sam_ahmed - 14 January 2011 at 10:23am |

I would like to do this - unfortunately for the first few rounds I was running the games in a way that it didn't save the stats. I might have some stats from this round onwards if we're lucky... |

I lost track too! Lucky to have won! Was a good victory.
Balaji in for Agarkar for the next match. Normal pitch with normal bounce and a fast outfield! |

Aus XI:
1.Hughes 2.Watson(b) 3.Katich(b) 4.Ponting(c) 5.M.Hussey 6.M.Clarke(b) 7.Haddin(wk) 8.Johnson(2) 9.S.Clark(b) 10.Hilfenhaus(1) 11.Bollinger(b) Katich and Clarke to bowl their turners on what looks to me like a spin based wicket, silly me for not bringing along even a mediocre spinner. |

Round 5:
England make up for their disappointment of losing to Australia by thumping West Indies by an innings and 308 runs with Paul Collingwood hitting a double century and Graeme Swann taking six second-innings wickets. Australia make it 5 out of 5 with a comfortable nine-wicket win over England A. India are made to work hard by Afghanistan, before they clinch a three-wicket win on the final day. Scorecard Mohammad Yousuf scores a vital fourth-innings century as Pakistan beat India A by two wickets in another close game. Scorecard POINTS: Australia 25, India 18, England 17, Pakistan, India A 14, England A 9, West Indies 5, Afghanistan 0 I forgot to process the scorecards for the first two matches, but I do at least have stats for the countries involved in the two games since Christmas: England - Batting & Bowling England A - Batting & Bowling Australia - Batting & Bowling West Indies - Batting & Bowling That'll be the last round for a while as I'm taking a break - back in Feb! Whoot!!
Clark(the bowler) really has blown it now I think, and if I'd've taken a second keeper in my squad Haddin would've too. |

Disappointing result after putting up such a good show with the bat in the 1st innings! Still you have to give credit to that man Yousuf!

You certainly can robbie - you'll have to join in Division 2 (or lower if you want) - all sides still available and I'll let you name your own squad. Check the early posts for the full line-up. We won't be getting back underway for another week or so. |

Robbie - Jacob Oram has retired from Tests so you'll need to pick another player I'm afraid.
Right, let's get things moving again. Next fixtures are as follows: Div 1: West Indies v Pakistan, Afghanistan v India A, Australia v India and England v England A Div 2: South Africa v Kenya, Sri Lanka v New Zealand, Zimbabwe v Bangladesh, Ireland v Scotland |
