Justin Langer is a player of class but hasn't been making big scores lately.
Will he get dropped and Michael Hussey move up to open and Michael Clarke come into the team? |

Yeah, Justin Langer could be dropped. But Hayden and Langer are known to make big opening partnerships. If Langer is dropped, then those big partnerships might not happen again.

Look at these opening test partnerships by Hayden and Langer So I agree with crownmethod on the fact these opening partnerships will not be able to happen. JL Langer 104 (224) v New Zealand   ; 2001/02 ML Hayden 136 JL Langer 126 (219) v South Africa 2001/02 ML Hayden 105 JL Langer 250 (195) v England   ; 2002/03&nbs p; ML Hayden 102 JL Langer 111 (242) v West Indies 2002/03 ML Hayden 177 JL Langer 162 (255) v Sri Lanka & nbsp; 2004 ML Hayden 117 JL Langer 105 (185) v England   ; 2005 ML Hayden 138 |

Langer and Hayden are great mates. If Langer leaves the team, it might affect Hayden, and that will be bad news because then Hayden might not be getting big scores any more.

No, if Langer is dropped Hussey should open, and Micheal Clarke or Brad Hodge can come back into the team.

No. Langer will not be dropped. You're stupid to think Hussey is going to open. What happens if the middle-order fails?

Good point! Australia need Hussey to stabilize the lower order.
