Just where did you get this pearl of wisdom from? The art of slow bowling is complex , but variation is vital if you're going to succeed at international level.

A flatter delivery might catch a batsman in his crease , but then again , a flighted topspinner might have him groping and driving in the air.

Both forms of bowling are used by ALL spin bowlers , but I'd say the flighted ball generally is a more productive wicket taker.
