I quite like having both. A bit of variety in ball behaviour, just like a bit of variety in pitches, forces players to be adaptable to different conditions if they want to succeed.

I agree with Roscoe, using balls that behave in slightly different ways tests out the all-round ability of bowlers and batsmen, variation is what cricket is all about.

Quite right Roscoe and CM , uniformity leads to dullness. There's
also the small matter of bowlers mastering the two types of ball , some
have , a lot haven't!

Maybe there should be a ball that tells really funny jokes, so you laugh so much you can't catch the ball.

im pretty sure i ment blind people, but it wud be rather funny to wack blnd folds on deaf people and tell then it would all be ok because theres a bell inside
