Yes absolutely loved The Hangover. Zach Galifianakis nails it. Hilarious stuff!! Can't wait for the sequel. Talking of sequels how many of you eagerly awaiting for 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' . I know I am.

Not too keen on any of the Spiderman flick. They could've done with a better lead surely . Think the guy is a wuss.
Ironman and Batman get my thumbs up. Hear the next Batman movie could be Christopher Nolan's last. |

I've watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean but can't absolutely remember if I saw all of the 2nd and I know I didn't see all of the 3rd. I should be ashamed, being a Caribbean boy and haven't watched them all!
And yeah, the hangover is good but shouldn't be watched around kids!

Last night it was Kick Ass.
I really enjoyed this tale of a teenage wannabe superhero, who runs into far more than he bargained for when he dons the costume. Although designated a comedy, it's a very violent film, but very stylishly shot by Matthew Vaughn, who made one of my favourite movies of recent years, Stardust. Young Brit Aaron Johnson does well in the lead role, but the real star is 11 year old Chloe Moretz, who steals every scene she is in, and gets to deliver a couple of jaw dropping lines, one of which is a genuine "did she actually just say THAT?" moment! 8/10 |

Kick-ass is fantastic..
Actually in my avatar, the person i'm with, is who did the art for the kick-ass comic books! I met him at a comic con, which the creator of kick-ass was holding! Few links there

Wonder if anybody else does this and fancies sharing - this is not an exhaustive list but I try to remember to rate any film I watch on IMDB and here's my list:
http://www.imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=10310696 Looking at it myself, there's quite a range of popular, not so popular, foreign language stuff (used to watch a lot when I was abroad) and absolute dross in it! |

Plenty of talk of Ironman , which reminded me of the quip -
What's the difference between Ironman and Ironwoman ? One's a superhero and the other's an order ! |

I went to see Thor last night, with a friend and my brother, we got in for free as well! (My friend works there)
It's such a good film, does a great job with all the characters and Asgard is made beautifully. I love the Iron Man films, but this tops them for me i think! I especially love how it's all building up for The Avengers film, which is going to be incredible! ![]() Has to be a 9/10 I want to see Your Highness next..

Watched a fine film last night , Ian Mckellen's Richard III made in 1996. Hardly a new film , I just found it on the TV. Interestingly set in Britain in the 1930's , it loses nothing from Shakespeare's powerful dialogue. McKellen is brilliant as the evil , devious and calculating Richard , ably supported by some of Briatain's finest. Maggie Smith steals scenes as Richard's mother , Jim Broadbent as the stooge , The Duke of Buckingham , Nigel Hawthorne as the unfortunate brother Clarence and John Wood as the fated King Edward IV.
I'm usually a traditionalist when it comes to Shakespeare , but this film worked for me and the ending brought a smile which I won't spoil here. A good 7.5 out of 10 and a must for Shakespeare fans. Edited by Sledger - 25 May 2011 at 7:05am |

I watched Iron Man 2 last night with my boys. I don't think it is anywhere near as good as the first one - there was lots of good snappy dialogue and character development in the first one whereas the sequel is pretty much action all the way - but entertaining enough to pass a couple of hours.
Maybe 6.5 out of 10. |

Saw Priest in 3D. Have to say, it did not live up to the hype. The effects were good abut the script very lose and ill-structured. I'd give it a 5

Saw Kung Fu Panda-2 last week. Script is decent but not great. Script of Part 1 was definetly better than this one. But the Animation and 3-D effects are fantastic. Worth taking kids to this movie.

It is just released last month only sledge - that must have been some other Priest then. This one has the story on pretty similar liens that you are talking about though. But a pretty average attempt.

I haven't actually watched a Film in ages. Mostly been going through TV boxsets.
Last film that i did watch though was David Finchers 'Zodiac' which is easily my favourite film of the last ten years and gets a perfect 10/10 from me.

Yeah thats the one (Zodiac) it has Robert Downey Jr. too who is great. Great movie, very in-depth. I'd also recommend the audio commentary with the crime writer James Ellroy; its fascinating.
Box sets: catching up on 'Six Feet Under', '30 Rock' and 'Oz'

'Oz' is set in a prison so that is basically the root of everything that goes on. Kind of like a HBO version of Prison Break's first season without the 'break' part.
'Six Feet Under' is about a family who run/own a funeral home. It's a drama but there's lots of dark comedy too. I'd recommend both although SFU is my favourite.

Did you watch Prison Break then? First season was fantastic, slowly declined from there I think that and Lost went over to Sky One eventually, i loved Lost as well, that's one of my favourite shows!
