This has happened to me a couple of times now where I've been in the middle of a fairly long post and I've accidentally pressed something on the keyboard which has made me go back, then when I press the forward button again my post is gone, causing me to lose my post and having to start it once again. Is there anything you can do to the forum to stop this happening and has anyone else had this problem?

I've had similar and it is hugely frustrating. If it is a really long post you could always highlight the body text every few lines then hit Ctrl + C to copy it then if you lost it you can just paste it when you get back onto the right page. Not ideal but the best I can come up with.

I've never lost any of mine, but I don't tend to write very long posts, mostly 1 or 2 lines

I am having a problem and I don't know if it is my computer or what, but this box that I am typing in, there is something that is like covering the left part of it and I can't see what I am typing on the left side as you will see there are some grammatical errors in some of my posts of late. I don't know what it is at all. It's there all the time for me today! You can like select it but when I press delete it's not deleting at all!

Both I'm guessing.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

For longish posts use Word (or whatever processor you have if you live outside BG's domination) then cut and paste the entire contribution into the post box.

phpBB can save part completed dialogue into a database, but it is a sure way to flood a database with rubbish and most sensible platforms do not have this funtionality.
