Awesome. Possibly among one of the best performances in the entire history of cricket.

Yes absolutely amazing - never will we forget when old whatsisname took how many wickets in an over.
When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat.

I've heard that it was only done once before, 4 wickets in 4 consecutive balls. I'll try to find the reference

Thanks, I was struggling to find the reference. OK. what I was referring to was 4 wickets in one over in international cricket. It was by Wasim Akram. Opposition I could not remember.

Doesn't Andy Cadd!ck's demolition of the Windies back in 2000 count then?  I'd give it up if I were you Max!

I said it was a hear say WG, and I was looking for reference as well. You are right in this matter and I am wrong.

Since i am not that thorough with the caddi£k incident, could you tell me which happened in tests and which happened in ODIs?

And I definietly see no List A matches here! these are 3/4 day matches I think. That's why Malinga's name is not up there in the list. OK, it had been done thrice in List A matches before. So it's a rare feat.

our Wickets in Four Balls

A Ward - Derbyshire v Sussex @ Derby in 1970
SM Pollock - Warwickshire v Leicestershire @ Birmingham in 1996
VC Drakes - Nottinghamshire v Warwickshire @ Nottingham in 1999

I'll quickly remind you of your original post as you seem to have selective amnesia >>>

I think you will find those 34 instances were all in first class cricket.

I'll kindly remind you that I was talking on the context of limited over matches.

The jamais vu is taking place. It happened in an ODI, so the context is obvious.

Good lord, too much time today has been taken up with numpties, I bid you good day and part on a word of counsel.  Take the time and trouble to make your position clear in the first instance, though I suspect in this case you are being more than a little disingenuous and are creating a smokescreen to shield your earlier folly.........

ooooh I didn't mean fists class

oooooh I didn't mean anything other than ODIs

It is really quite laughable.
