Yea, we all get nerves going out while batting, and **** ourselves on first ball. But would the very adrenaline enhancing drug, music help? I think it might help get rid of my nerves but im not sure if its worth it, i would be able to hear when my partner calls it... What are your thoughts on it? would it lack concentration?

if it works for you, and is not illegal, then why not?

When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat. |

Loud music that you like actually helps when you are driving a car-it has been proven. But, it would be a bad idea when running between the wicket.

Naah, get BOSE or some other headphones (they are just $99+ , real cheap), it wont fall off (jus being sarcastic!).
It won't help you focus on the ball that's being bowled. Cricket is only about the ball --- You watch it, you hit it, nothing else! When you are under pressure, ask yourself : Is this feeling going to help me? Shaaz |
