Hey folks. I'm new to the forum but I just wanted to give you all a 'heads-up' about a new play being produced by the Nottingham Playhouse about the infamous 1932-33 'bodyline' series. I've been cast as Jack Fingleton and wanted to hear people's thoughts/memories/theories on the subject.

If you are in Nottingham I presume the show is sympathetic to Larwood in particular?
I hope Jardine is portrayed as a noble hero! |

It does follow Larwood's story very closely. I can't believe both he and Jardine were told they had to apologise for bodyline! I'm doing a lot of reading at the moment and it seems there was a lot going on that the public were unaware of. |
