As we all know, in every match, there is some sparkling shots, wickets, catches etc.

So, this thread is for everyday of a match, you come and tell us what you think is the best shot, catch, wicket and play of the day.

We can start from tomorrow!

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.

Can't wait for a day when we see Pieterson. Flintoff, Ponting and Gilchrist bat on the same day.

Good luck deciphering who had the best shot.

Judge the player not by their stats, but by their opposition.

It should be very interesting indeed.... also the reason why I made the thread.

Nah, I think it would be much more interesting if it involved us. Everyone knows about the international stuff anyway.

Nah Fishy! Nobody will know if you played a good shot or not. I think it should stay between the internationals. I would be great to hear many persons views and what was the best shot, catch etc for the day.

So, did anybody atleast see day 1 for the Windies PAK match?

Shot of the day had to be Brian Lara's 2nd 6 in that run of three successsive maximums - lovely dance down the track and a beautifully timed shot over long on. Nobody has a full flourish of the blade anywhere near as flambouyant as the Windies captain!
Mental disintegration works for me !!

Ball of the day - Harmison's delivery to open up this Ashes series; right into the hands of second slip, sadly without the aid of any bat or glove

No way. The ball of the day has to be Hayden's wicket.

I really do not like Bowden, he is a poor umpire.. we should have guys like Taufel , Hair, Bird and Shepherd umpiring the Ashes; a shame only one of them is currently officiating and the introduction of neutral umpires,,,, *sigh

Billy is more of an entertainer than an umpire! You guys should he seen the fans in the caribbean go berserk the first time they saw him in the caribbean.

I think he meant it light-heartedly Wink. And he's not English so its easy for him to say that.
