Gary Kirsten and Hershal Gibbs were very fine opening pair. Believe me, it was almost impossible to stop Kirsten from hitting big shots. He was a bit older, yet very very effective.

As far as i remember, probably Saeed Anwar & Amir Sohail pair was the best opening pair. Big Josh, why u did not put it in the list, i am surprised. |

Hayden and Langer make a great opening pair.
Aamir Sohail and Saeed Anwar were also a good opening pair. The best Pakistan ever had. |
