skip - yeah I managed to go and watch our first team play for most of the game then had to shoot off. They managed a good winning draw against probably the best team in the league.

In terms of School teams, I played for The Glasgow Academy for 3 years, finishing last year, and 2 years ago we were awarded the Henry Grierson Trophy in the August following our victory over the XL club.  As far as this season has gone it has been amazingly successful... 8 from 8.  3 from 3 for Glasgow Uni, 3 from 3 for Glasgow Accies 1st XI in Western Union division 1, and victories in the 2 Glasgow Evening Knock-out competitions, and only one game canceled due to weather (not bad for West Central Scotland)  Dunno hown long it will last, but certainly trying to make the most of it while we can!

Same here, and with me having skipped the previous match the week before, and missing the tour this weekend, it'll have been 4 weeks between matches for me - very difficult to maintain form in the circumstances

Played two game this weekend - Saturday we lost to the side who were bottom of the league, the team as a whole played pretty badly. I did nothing, didn't bat, no catches/no stumpings.

Bank Holiday Monday - we played against to of the league. Had a great game, which they won off the last ball. Looking back now it's a shame we lost, but it was one of the best games i've played in. Didn't bat, but got three stumpings and one catch and probably kept the best I ever have done.

Our Aussie pro had a good weekend with the bat also, 60 not out on Saturdya and 120 not out yesterday. Yesterdays knock was one ofthe best I've seen, getting from 50 to 100 took him twenty balls and he took 29 off one over.

Bring on the cup match tonight, hopefully the weather will stay as nice as it is now.

On Thursday night we beat one of the best teams in the league in the cup. They have a club professional related to Shahid Afridi and he was quite sharp. Can hit a ball a long way, but doesn't have the soundest of techniques. We won off the last ball with a very close single to bring the game home.

I got a stumping and a catch and wasn't required to bat, which I didn't complain about. We play Hartlepool today, we played them last wekk and beat them by 4 wickets I think it was, maybe three. Well let's hope the weather keeps as god as it is at the moment and we are in for a cracker.

I had a good game today. Batting first on a horror show of a wicket we made 139 with me top scoring on 41, then we rolled them over for 70 odd, and I took 4 for 3 so I am pretty happy with life right now :)

Finally something to cheer about now clobs . I've got to admit it , those are decent figures. Maybe we will see you in the pommie side soon .

Anyways , I had a match on the weekend. the opposition batted first and made 119 all out. I took 2 for 24 from 4 overs and then my side batted and made 123/1. I made 51 not out hitting 7 fours and 1 six over long off.

My school team won the ROPSSAA championship (indoor cricket). Right now, I am playing for a club but haven't done anything special. My coach is so stupid that he never watches me at practice. Its also my fault because I'm suppose to be practising with my U-15 team. But I always practice with the U-17 guys because its more challanging for me. So my U-15 coach has never seen me play which is why he never lets me do anything. I get to bat at number 10 when I should seriously be opening. I bowled a few overs when I was invited to play a match for the U-17 team. But my U-15 coach is so stupid, he hasn't even let me bowl a single over yet. I should be the strike bowler. And he's so stupid that he makes his son the captain who can't bat or bowl at all. His son is so stupid that he got bowled while defending a short ball. Every stupid batsman on my U-15 team is so god damn slow in batting. They defend every single god damn ball. They are seriously scared of the balls and they get out on the stupidest balls. There are a couple of sloggers as well but I'm the only technically correct batsman who can score runs at a good rate. My bowling is not extremely fast but I'm trying to bring it to that level. Still, I can swing the ball both ways in the air and after a bounce at decent pace. Its not fair!!! I haven't been to any practice for the past 3 weeks because of exams and I'm planning to practice with the U-15 team once I do finally go to practice so that I can show my coach that I'm not some stupid wanabe.

I should be captaining my stupid club team but right now I look like I don't even know how to play because my coach just doesn't give me a chance to do anything.

My school teams rubbish and we've won about 75%.

My club team though is doing really well, led by my inspiring prescence as skipper and opening bat. We play retire at 30 and I've made 3 thirties so far.

I got hit on the ankle by the ball while batting on Sunday. Whilst it hurt at the time I had a job to do so got on with it but the next day it had ballooned up and is now a spectacular set of purple shades.
