I hope they do well against England and win the series 3-1.

Then "Mighty" meaning has to be changed in webster if it has to be associated with current Aussie anymore.

Bollinger fizz is gone after 3-4 overs,Players lose form and enter a bad patch but Jhonson on the other hand will be always in bad patch and once in a while gets back to form.Smith, I wonder is he a test bowler by any standards,he has just copied warnie's bowling style, but hasn't even copied 10% of his turn? Watson and North aren't these two nothing but bits and pieces players for tests?

In Flintoff , it was difficult to decide if he was a batsman or a bowler , coz he did both the jobs equally well , the same is the case with Watson with slight difference, I can't decide Watson is a batsman or bowler, coz he is not consistent with either. One match he is bowler , one match he is batsman and few other he will be nothing player.

If Aussies use this test team, they will taken apart by English in Ashes for sure.Ponting,Hussey,Clarke,Hilfy,Katich are the only ones of Test class.

Bring  on Stuart Clarke,Siddle,Jaques/Hughes,Hauritz (no other better option),Haddin/Paine(no choice here aswell).

Pakistan should be very happy with first win after 14 attempts in 15 years or so.They bowled very good , Aamer is excellent, batting seems kind of ok now, however I feel their batting has long long way to go in tests, and their bowling apart from Aamer is not a great  threat in unresponsive pitches.Gul and Asif are handful only if it is swinging and overcast in tests.

Same thing should be apply with this current Indian batting lineup which people call Mighty. Its funny how you target Bollinger who just had one bad innings and on the other side where people destroy Indian bowling lineup daily you say they are still good. So just say that Johnson was lucky that he was the test player of the year.Smith just played 2 matches and he did alot better than what Warne did in his first series atleast give him time he is young he will improve.Watson is one of the best all-rounders in the world currently but its no use to tell you becuz you dont know the meaning of a all-rounder its not your fault how would you know? India never had a decent all-rounder apart from Kapil Dev.North is a nothing player i agree but still better than Cukraj. Its a joke to call Watson bits and pieces player. If you really want to tell who is test class than tell us about Indian team im sure there will be only 4-5 player left in the team if we talk about class and standards. Australia dont need to go back to old players they already have so many good young players unlike India who hardly have a fast bowler.Pakistan bowled very good? 88 all out is joke for you so no need to say anything else. Gul might struggle on flat pitches but Asif is a gem he can make the bowl talk just like Aamer.

Oh I forgot to mention about my favourite Cameron White, how on earth he is left out of this Aussie test side.

1. Hughes/Jaques
2. Katich
3. Ponting
4. Clarke
5. Hussey
6. White
7. One good Wicketkeeper
8. S Clarke
9. Hilfenaus
10. Siddle
11. One Good Spinner

Even if they get proper players for  7 and 11 spots , it does not look mighty by any means.

So Sam this proof that she is lucky for you. I hope that Pakistan keep doing well and win the series against England 3-1 or 3-0.

At last , something for all Pakistani fans to smile about. Their bowlers did a fantastic job and the victory , albeit a stuttering one at the end , was fully deserved.  Their attack will cause England problems in the coming weeks and we'll find out if this is a genuine recovery or a one off.  How will Pakistan cope if there is a dramatic batting collapse , will the old fractious behaviour resurface ?  This 4 test series should tell us the answer.  Equally important , can England's batsmen put the big hundreds on the board , something top test sides do consistently?   It'll be a cracking series , with bumper crowds and as usual , I'll take England to win it 2-1 with one drawn.
Mental disintegration works for me !!

That is a close prediction. Pakistan would not mind getting Yousuf back in the side, this will give them some substance in the otherwise fragile middle order. Bring it on.

Yousuf should come in the side for Malik or umar akmal. Both are odi and T20 players. Umar Akmal was made a star after his first Innings in New Zealand but he isn't solid for test at all. Azhar Ali and Umar Amin are much better players They have shown great tempraments. They need just one big innings for their confidence. It wasnt an easy job in those conditions against Australia to replace Younis and Yousuf. They looked really good at the crease. We need such solid batsmen for no. 5 and 6.

It is never easy for the bowlers to be at the losing side after dismissing the opposition out twice cheaply. I was worried if they'll be able to do it all over again at Headingly, but what is good about these set of bowlers is that they know that they are damn good and they just go out there and do their job, not worrying too much about what the batsmen do.

No other team can really boast of bowling Australia out for such low scores consistently (including the AUS tour) and that too after losing matches after matches. the bowlers have bowled with a big heart.

Regarding Umer Akmal - He is surely playing very irresponsibly at test level, a is a tremendous talent and needs to be groomed properly unfortunately he doesn't have any great batsmen like Yousuf or Inzi or Younus to guide him.

Nice to see Pakistan winning, I'm a huge fan of their bowling attack.  And I don't agree with Raj that Asif and Gul is useless in non responsive conditions.  I rate Asif much better than Aamer, who has the extra pace to get the batters in more trouble but Asif has a terrific bowling brain.  The guy messes with batsmen head at 80MPH, takes a lot of class to do that.  Aamir could well go on to be better, I don't doubt that but check out Asif's record, an average of 23 when he was in the team first and even now he's back it's about the same.
In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.
