Kudos to Misbah, he pulled his weight and made 2 match saving knocks.  Captain's knock you'll call that.

Right mystery, hate to say this but Salman was surely the right man for the job, even Wasim Akram has said this. What a pity!

It was a good series for Pakistan, Most importantly they batted very well. Seriously i never expected that they would be able to cross a 300 mark in an innings with their current batting lineup but thanks God Seniors played well specially that new lad Azhar Ali is a Gem, he is a pure test cricketer. I hope that he will carry his form in the future.
Overall a good on the field performance by a team, which is facing serious issues off the field and is going through a rehabilitation process.
Cricket for peace!

Right Amal, but I hope Pakistan don't give too much hype now to young Azhar Ali, he has done really well but we have seen what unnecessary "star" status has done to Umer Akmal, we all know he is 100 times better than what he his doing at the moment (Umer that is).

Azhar needs to keep himself down to earth and just concentrate on what he is doing.

What's up with Manzoor guys, he's scored runs for fun against West Indies A team in the 4 day test match.  The guy was toying with the spinners!  To be he doesn't last that long when playing for Pakistan though.

He is a fine player and has the temperament but will only survive o these pitches like the sub-continent and the Windies. Has a lot to work on his technique.

Yes Zuhair, I realised that about him.  His stance is very wide and his body is down low, he will tackle the sub continent and Windies pitches (not Kensignton though) well but when it's rising up off a length, he'll be in a lot of trouble.  He plays spin quite well though, uses the pace well and get as close as possible to the pitch of the ball.  Richie Richardson did keep his body low but was good at the short ball but that's because when we grow up in the West Indies, you face a lot of hostile stuff so that's why you find many West Indies could face short stuff.  Times have changed now, you hardly find people playing in the road, schools etc like we use to.  Pulling/hooking was always a shot you had to learn because West Indians generally don't like to pitch up, they find that's too easy a way for batsmen to get runs.
