I hope its Sachin Tendulkar especially since I think this will be his last world cup. I'd like to see Bond and Patel do well too. If Irfan Pathan was in form, then he would have been my pick.

However, officially, I'd put my money on Kallis.

Yea, I am keeping my eye on Ganguly too.

At this early stage i think Gibbs, Kallis and Ponting have to be up there but it is still too early to tell. Gibbs' six 6's i think will be hard to top unless someone scores a 200 which by the look of things is probable!

KP was in an awsome form yesterday, so if england goes on to super 8 and beyond, He could be the man responsible and probably no wild guesses for the man of the world cup!

I think this might be Kallis's world cup... Actually, I'm hoping it will be.

I have noticed for the past one month that everybody thinks that Sachin's out of form. Maybe he is not at his 100 runs best but hes scoring 50 very often. Almost every alternate games, he comes up with atleast 35-60. If you think thats called out of form, then what do you think Dravid is... a loser. He has made only 2 or 3 hundreds in the last two in ODIs. Inzamam has made only 1 or 2 similarily.

Well wiseguy I have to admit that he is performing so far in this world cup. It's a good thing but the man that I really want to see performing is Lara....I have not seen any centuries from him so far in this world cup and it's quite disappointing.

I don't want him batting at number five, he is supposed to come in at his usual position...number four!!! Instead he moves Samuels up the order and allows himself to drop one down!!!!

I could understand that he is trying to make this about the young players who he wants to see scoring runs but doesn't he care anything about his supporters who want to see him bat and see the vengence Lara that we love????

I think it's got to go to Matthew Hayden based on current form but there's still a long way to go in the competition so it could all change.

Looking like Hayden or Jayasuria, both in fantastic form. None of the bowlers have really done anything special yet apart from Malinga.

I'd say it's a race to the finish by Matthew Hayden and Graeme Smith.

Ponting? You've got to be joking. Hayden has outshined him throughout the tournmanet, Smith has been in excellent form as well.

What about Kallis or Styrs? Both have been in excellent performed. I don't understand the fuss about Malinga? He bowled one brilliant spell and good on him. Otherwise he's erratic and damn expensive, even the Windies saw him off. He went for 6.80 an over today, and its not the first time!
