Players of the week Poll

Guys

I am starting this new rating system, which would be quite unlike tha various prevailing rating systems.

It would be based on the performance of the last 7 days. The rating will be announced every monday in the following categories.


Best Batsman (every run scored will have one point, runs resulting in victory will get 50% bonus points, 50 or 100 will get 5 or 10 bonus points respectively)
Best Bowler (every wicket taken will be given one point, wickets contributing to victory will be given 50% bonus points)
Best Keeper (every catch or stumping will get 10 points)
Best Allrounder (every run will have one point, every wicket 10 points and every dismissal by a wicket keeper will also get them 10 points)
Best Fielder (every catch or run out will have 10 points)
Best voted Player. this player will be selected by a poll from the best players of the week.

Nominate your players by end of day tomorrow!!!
Dont forget to provide stats i.e. runs, wickets, catches, dismissals made during this period for the nominated players.

Nominations based on the performance from 13 - 19 feb will be announced tomorrow.

Your system grossly handicaps bowlers - 1 run scores the same amount of points as a wicket. In which case, Yuvraj is a nailed on certainty to win this week.

Infact bowlers should be rated amongst themselves and  we should have a batsman , a bowler and may be a fielder of the week, if we do not change the scoring system allrounders will be at lost, contributing much more but not featuring in any ratting! I think change every wicket to ten points with 5 bonus points in case if win for a haul of wickets may be !
