Im thinking of getting a new bat and dont know whether to get a GN Powerbow or Kookaburra Diablo. THe thing is...with the powerbow, i have heard that it is designed for players who like to hit at the bottom of the bat( thats why there is a bow). I am however, a player to likes to play all the shots. Is the powerbow right for me??

I think the bowed blades make the bats pick up lighter and give a larger, more forgiving, hitting zone, so there is no reason why the Powerbow shouldn't suit all types of player

The GN Powerbow is a top class bat, much better than the Diablo!!!!

Hope this helps buddy!

Gray-Nicolls Powerbow Pro performance

• Massive edge profile - more runs for miss hits!

• Long powerful sweet spot - for maximum performance

• Exaggerated lower blade bow - helping to keep hands in front of the ball on contact

• Light pick-up without losing the feeling of power

2lb 8oz to 3lb.

To order.

£220.00

The bat has a huge sweetspot from middle to near bottom, and the edges are also more forgiving, you can totaly misstime a shot and still get four from the edge!!

Well Rudolph and Hayden bat with this particular bat! Hayden is a great puller and driver and Rudolph a great driver and cutter, so it should work for you!!!!!!!!!!

Pads are pads. Buy a comfy pair that doesn't break the bank.

it's such a subjective question. The only thing that matters is what feels right to you.

Yea, the best looking one if everyone of them feels the same.

I suggest the kookabura diablo out of the three that you mentioned groovydude.

I think its the lightness of the bat compared to the power.

Exactly - if a bat is well made it will feel light in the pick up

A bat supplier recently showed me one of the new Gray Nicholls Gigabows. These are MASSIVE bats and the one I had in my hands weighed 3lbs. When you held it out in front of you it did feel heavy but when trying strokes it picked up as light as a feather which was quite unbelievable considering the amount of wood in it.
