i also want him but i think he will have to work very hard to get into the squad. at present the spin attack is good and i don't think he will get a chance. he hasn't played odis for a long time. also chapell wants youngsters in the side so he would be neglected.

the ansewris simply a no. anil kumble hasnt played one day cricket for a couple of years now and doesnt have the stamina and physical shape to play one day cricket.I would love to see him come back to one day cricket and compete in the wc07 but that would probably burn him out and make our best test bowler unavailble tooo,

if india r playing on a spinning track they would go with powar and bhajji as they have played a lot of odi's recently. also the part timers like yuvi and sehwag can also help them out if the pitch suits them. so i think anil kumble's odi career might be ended unless the two players mentioned above fail miserably cause kumble is getting old and his shoulders might not support him for very long and i feel that he should be protected for tests.

You have to give legends the respect. No ne leaves someone wh ohas taken 500 test wickets out thier squad how irish would that be.

well same could have been said abt ganguly. only the 4th(or 5th) player to reach 10000 runs and second highest centuries. still he has to give way to youngsters. same applies with kumble. still who said that he isn't respected. and if u r living in australia i m sure u know how they treat the legends.chapell has brought that same thing to india.

but yes kumble should have been given more oppurtunities cause he is an excellent bowler and has the ability to turn a game. but unless india start losing badly i don't think any of the sacked senior players will get a chance
