is any one else thinking of getting brian lara international cricket 2007
? it is supposed to be coming out next march.
i hav 2005 and think it alright but this is supposed to be well betr with sweeps and you can advance down the wicket
here is some screen shots for x box 360 tell me wat you think ?

Play England in the World Cup. Bot Freddy hit me for 6 sixes in a row and I was shocked. I played Australia with India, and I got them all out for 255. You just need patience. I noticed that. You wait till the day is over and them BAM. All the remaining 6 wickets fell withn 10 quick overs. Then I batted and made 386. 215 by my Career Player. He also got 4 wickets and Zaheer got 5 wickets. Dravid also made 91. This is better than Cricket 2007 as Cricket 2007 graphics are lower and doesn't have model for Xbox 360. Plus it has some features which I don't like. Hey robbie. He is my easiest bowler! lol. In Hard mode too. I always play slowly and don't try to play a Run Rate of 10 or such. I find it more fun when my Run Rate is normal. I hated the Tests, but now I kind of like it, but you need to play it when you have more time. I played the start of the second innings today and I had only 30 minutes. You need patience for Test matches in this game and I tried to get and many wickets as possible in that time and got annoyed. I managed only 1 wicket through a trick I noticed. After getting Ponting out for 1 in the first innings, he is hitting me very quickly now. Hayden played surprisingly quick in the first innings until I changed the field for the 11th time! Once again he is doing well. ------------- |

I just beat Australia by an innings and 40 runs. Never ever done that before in a Test match. Zaheer taking 10/62 in the gane, but the Man of the Match would be my Career Player for the 10th time in a row. 215 and 5 wickets in the match.
In my first ODI, I kicjed out Sehwag and replaced the opwning slot with Ganguly because I couldn't remove my Career Player from the team for Ganguly. I hit 3 sixes against Lee in one over and then it took me 10 overs just to get my form back and hit a couple more boundaries. That precisely means that hitting the Australian attack will make you regret it later. ------------- |

What happened in my game was that just as my Career Player reached his 100, Dravid got out for 91, and the rest of the batsman weren't good enough. I tend to go with 5 bowlers in a team, and still I managed to put up another 130 runs up on the board with My Career Player steering us in the end, but Zaheer supported him with 6 runs in the last partnership, which was a 30 run one. ------------- |

I wanted to find out what Specialist Skills were, so I played 6-10 over games in Slog Mode and made my CP open the batting and made him get all the strike. His stats improved drastically, but since I chose an all-rounder, his stats go only up to 8/10 and I don't know how to increase lofting. Maybe the Specialist Skills will help. ------------- |

Lofting doesn't seem to go past 50, my guy is a career player with 100 batting, but his lofting is only 50 ------------- |

I know. That's why I was unhappy until I realised that it makes no difference for a good batsman. Once I hit 15 sixes in a row in the last three voers with Nehra and Srinath, and even I was surprised. ------------- |

10 overs? 6 balls an over = 60 balls. If you hit a 6 every ball you would make 360. Passing the 500 mark would need another 140 from no balls, 7 runs max each (a six plus the no ball run) so you'd need at least 20 no balls in 10 overs, a bit far fetched.

The demo came out last week so I guess the game will follow over the next few weeks. I quite like the mouse control for batting but overall there was little drag me back to keep playing. |

Demo didn't work for me, but from the reviews of 66 people, I found out that the game is a huge dissapointment. Ig they sell it in Canada for a really cheap price though, I'll buy it.

I bought BLC07. Catching is a bit tough but it's still a fun game, considering it only set me back £25.
At last you can make a whole team of custom players (Mario Canatzmas and Zakkai Jirello are a bit tasty just now
) and skip the overs/innings if the opposition are too good.Clearly this game is good enough to prevent me from revising. ------------- |

Ok now that i have the game i will try to tell you everything about it well overall it is a quite good game
2 tournaments it only does 2 tournaments icc champions trophy and the word cup there is no test match tournament u have to create one. while im on tests it seems that scotland,Bermuda and Ireland etc. are now test teams u can play as any team in a test match.
The players names are fake and you cannot change them for example Pietersens is K.Poulson and Alistair Cook is A.Cork and as far as i know you cannot change that.
coaching its pretty good and simple you can get coaching on batting bowling and fielding it pretty much shows u every shot and bowl and how u do it.
fielding u can throw to any end.but it is really dificult to catch the ball and get it into the stumps.
batting you can now do sweeps and as far as i can tell you can do reverse sweeps. Dificulty is pretty ok same as 05 except i thought bowling was well easier than batting on.
one error i have noticed so far is when you throw it to the wicket keeper if its a bad throw he always drops it and he almost always trys to stump the batsman out even if he didn't decide to try a run.
the game i played. i plyed a game between Scotland and Ireland i lost the toss and had to bowl first it was on village mode for difficulty. i got the first wicket of bray out in the first over when they had no run. then it just got worse for them ending up at 33/7 after 8 overs until for the last 2 overs they got it to 48 all out. it could have been less if i didn't drop all the hard cathes. Batting is pretty cool with all the new shots like dancing down the wicket.i got it for 6 overs remeber it was on villages mode so not on a difficult mode also i wasnt trying to hit every ball for 6.
Graphics graphics are very good quite realistic and the players move better and the wicket keeper dives for it and makes better looking stops.
so overall it is a good game but i have not played it long.
definalty worth buying form my point of view

| It's always hard to bowl out the opponent in any of these games. If you want a competitive game play the limited overs version of it, it's slightly easier to bowl. There is actually no secret to bowling, even if you bowl yorker after yorker and manage to spin the ball from leg to off, the computer batsman will always defend the ball. |
