A bit of fun that might just give some incite into why your team
was successful or otherwise! Anyone can update the previous post
when they see a dropped catch in the world cup matches , make sure you
put in the name and in the correct place. At the top of the post state in which match the drop took place so that we can prevent duplication. All drops count , even the most difficult!! I've only highlighted the top 9 sides fellas , but feel free to add the minnows if you so wish. I'll make the table in the 1st post , so hang fire if you read this right now! ------------- Mental disintegration works for me !! |

With that sort of arrangement, you will have to reserve half a page for Pakistanis, as they will have the lion's share of dropped catches, I can tell you by the end of this cup you will have every one featured and almost a dropped catch at every position. I'll update that for you guys!

I thought Akmal was rubbish with the gloves yesterday. Dropped Lara and missed a stumping another time. Then the commentator says that hes hardly put a foot wrong in the match!!!!! |

During the Zim vs WI today.... 45.3 Chigumbura to Bravo, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off, Bravo goes on the backfoot and lofts it down to third man straight to the fielder and the fielder misses the catch. In the Zim vs WI match the Zim wicket keeper missed a catch but Sabanda managed to take a super catch so I guess you can't say that the keeper dropped it!! LOL. But the catch was so amazing, Sabanda really did good to pull off that catch. ------------- |

my definition of a drop is anything that the player gets at least a fingernail to but puts down. England are soing shockingly well here. Dropped chances are something we have had a bit of an issue with in recent times. Ed Joyce's fielding however is almost a reason to put strauss back in the side on its own. =p

I still find it fascinating that Sri Lanka have dropped more catches than anyone in the Super 8s, yet are doing so well. It just goes to show how many chances their bowlers are creating. ------------- |
