We're half way through, so what's your thoughts

PLUSES
1) The amazing first week, the underdogs winning!

MINUSES
1) The poor attendances, shame who set the prices so high. This was a chance to bring cricket back to the caribean people, and get them into it again, not as a money making tool.
2) No India and Pakistan .... you can't help but be dissapointed, especially as Ireland and Bangladesh have not lived up the billing and are just the whipping boys, it's created a 6 team league, and as a result Australia even after jus one super eight match, know they're in the semi finals.
3) It's far too long, we still have over a month to go. Maybe an idea would have have been to play two games a day, with viewers having the option to watch what game they wanted.
4) The appalling set of commentators chosen by the event organisers.
5) Low scoring games on poor batting pitches. Very rare to see two teams hit 300+ scores.

VERDICT
Pretty dissapointed to be honest, we've had some excellent matches earlier on (notably the Ireland Pakistan match, and the Bangladesh India match), but i don't think the tournament has recovered from losing India and Pakistan, to be without batsmen like Inzy, Yousuf, Sachin, Dravid is a huge shame.

What about SA Vs SL & Eng Vs SL matches?
Were they boring?

Both India and Pakistan were out coz they didn't play well on those days. We can't do anything about that my freind

World cup so far is too much for words to describe. There has been shocks, upsets, suprises with regard to Pak and India being out of the tournament and Ireland and Bangladesh advancing. It has been horror and sorrow over the death of Woolmer, not to mention the circumstances under which he was killed. There has been disappointment and anger for the west indian supporters who are getting annoyed and fustrated with the windies.

No one is saying that India and Pakistan are out for any reason other than because they played badly ramzi.  Joshiv also never said we havent had ANY other exciting matches.  He was putting forth his opinion on what the world cup has been like so far.

Very exciting, we never had four teams of this quality playing in a WC (i.e AUS, NZ, SAF & SL)

Ive enjoyed the WC so far.  A good mixture of results.....upsets, dominance from certain teams.  Its all good.  Would have been better for me, personally, if India was still in it ofcourse.
