So, with the beginning of the new County Championshi season just over 15 hours away now, are any of you planning to make the journey to watch any of the action or not?

I'm going on Thursday to watch Somerset V Middlesex, should be interesting as Middlesex are a fairly good side but they have Strauss, Dalrymple, Joyce and Morgan all away at the World Cup so it should be quite an even match with hopefully quite a lot of runs and wickets.

Also any of you planning to get memberships for the new season?

On extended leave...

I am one of a number of Leicestershire members who have declined renewing for this season for various reasons so I won't be going to see them as often as in recent seasons.

Pity that Clobs. Reading between the lines I get the impression that you have issues with the administration of the club rather than the playing side - that right?

That is pretty much the nail on the head Sledge - I'll still be cheering on the lads but am less inclined to throw quite so much of my cash at the rather worrying mob currently running the club.

Sad that mate. It never fails to amaze me how so many idiots get into positions of power in all walks of life - cricket being especially prone to it.
