Designed to go hand in hand with the 'How's Your Season Going?' Thread in the coaching section, to add some friendly competition to everyone's season I'm going to set up an MVP Ranking for us on the Cricket World forum.

All you have to do is more or less what you have been doing, post your scores and bowling analyses from your matches, I will enter the data into the MVP system and produce a report each week with how everyone is doing.

If there are enough of us playing both Twenty20 and longer versions (40+ over games) I can set up separate rankings. Let me know what you think.

So, it's over to you - simply post your scores and bowling analyses, plus catches and stumpings so far from this season (specify if it's Twenty20/shortened game or not) and we'll see who the forum's MVP is.

I'll start:

Matches: 2, Innings: 1, NO: 0, Runs: 2, HS: 2, Catches: 0, Stumpings: 0
Overs: 0, Mdns: 0, Runs: 0, Wickets: 0, 4 Wicket Hauls: 0, 5 Wicket Hauls: 0

By the way, I have gone through the 'How's your season going' thread and input all the data from there too.

I don't actually mind if you put individual scores or totals, just specify which - that makes it easier.

I assumed he made 61 twice from two innings, which gives 122, and he said he had 134 runs from two innings.

He made a total of 134 runs from 2 innings. He claimed his highest score was 61 not out. But if you subtract 61 from 134 it leaves 73 runs. But how could he have scored 61 and 73 if his highest score is 61?!?

Someone was bound to do it sooner or later lol, disqualification i think.

We do it so that everyone gets a bat in an evening 20 over trundle, only fair - otherwise the poor sods who bat at 5 - 11 never get a reasonable shout and, as they turn up week in week out whatever the weather, they should get a knock.  You can come back in should you get through your card, but I let the youngsters who have retired go back in before me.

I think I speak for the majority in saying I would like some proof.
Well here at my school the teachers keep the score cards, which is basically a book with scorecards in. And every match the teachers record the stats of the game and keep the book. So there isn't really a way i can prove my stats are real, but i dont really mind if you think im lying because i know im not :p

Anyway near the start of the season i got two 5 wicket hauls, i think it was against aston or saltley school and my stats where:

2 maidens
5 Wickets
10 runs
7 overs

If you want i could give u all my stats match by match but i cant get scorecards becuase the teachers keep those. But honestly i dont really see why you think i would be lying not like im going to win anything :)

Having a cracker of a season with my new Millichamp and hall s6 bat. Sorry it had toe crack and i had to send it to M&H today. But I have become the brand ambassador for M&H in our league. Everyone seems to like my bat. So the runs are scored by bat not the one holding its handle Clap

No, what I mean is, I would assume you all play to the level you are capable of, therefore all stats should be equal.
